Anna Fields received her Bachelor’s from Brown University, her JD from Wake Forest University and her MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU. Since then, she has worked as an author (Confessions of a Rebel Debutante), television writer (One Life to Live, As the World Turns, Squidbillies), screenwriter (Homeless, Devil’s Tramping Ground, 1989) and producer (Living in the Overlap, I Love Lucy and Bekka, One Day Home, Human Ken Doll, The Girl in the Show).
Her works have been published and produced by Penguin Putnam, The Daily Beast, Newsweek, Marie Claire Magazine, CBS, ABC, Turner Network, Mandalay Entertainment and the Austin and Toronto Film Festivals.
Her co-written feature, 'Homeless,' received the Grand Jury Award at the 2015 Dances With Films Festival, her feature ‘Devil’s Tramping Ground’ was a contender for the 2014 Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab, and her documentary, ‘Living in the Overlap,’ won the Audience Award at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival.
